Youth Congress membership drive extended upto 28 February 2015

* IYC president meets Dr Manmohan Singh, Apprises him
about the programs launched

Chandigarh/ Delhi, The ongoing Indian Youth Congress membership drive is extended till 28thFebruary 2015. This was stated by Raja Amrinder Warring, president IYC and MLA Gidderbaha in a statement issued today. Earlier this drive was closing on 24th of this month but due to All India Congress membership drive to be closing on 28th February, and keeping a sync with the senior party, Youth Congress also decided to extend it till 28th February.

Later Raja alongwith senior leaders of Indian Youth Congress also met

Dr Manmohan Singh former Prime Minister of India, and apprised him about the KISAN SATYAGRAH PROGRAM launched by the Youth Congress Nation wide. He told that agitations are being organized by the Pradesh Youth Congress bodies all over the country against the amendment being brought to the land acquisition bill in the parliament by the Modi Government. He also said that these agitations will also highlight various anti farmer and anti people policies of the Modi Government.
