Chandigarh, September 28: Punjab BJP today again lambasted the Aam Aadmi Party for adopting double-standards. Denouncing AAP leaders for being hypocrites, state BJP secretary Vineet Joshi said that the party was adopting different standards for a same issue and Jarnail Singh’s and Sucha Singh Chottepur’s cases bear testimony to it.
Vineet Joshi said, “Soon after he was indicted, AAP’s former convenor Sucha Singh Chottepur was ousted from the party even before the inquiry started, and moreover the investigation was stopped later on. Contrastingly, AAP has chosen to remain tongue-tied over similar charges against its Punjab affairs co-incharge, Jarnail Singh”.
Joshi said that AAP is constantly being accused of heinous crimes like corruption, sexual molestation, flaring religious sentiments and seeking cash in exchange of tickets and it now stood exposed before the people of Punjab. He said that the masses know the difference between good and bad and people won’t fall into AAP’s trap.
