Hundreds of Indian students facing ‘deportation’ from Canada stage protest
Mumbai, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, who attended a Holi event ‘Play Holi with Sunny Leone’ in Surat, Gujarat on Thursday allegedly left a media professional red-faced in response to his inappropriate question. While there was a lot of buzz that such an incident had happened, a leading news domain condemned the reports and said that Daniel termed the reports as ‘utter nonsense’ and ‘completely made up’ and that the media channel also told him that an apology will be issued for the false reports. He also denied the story about a drunk man bursting into Sunny’s hotel room.
According to media reports published earlier in the day, the Indo-Canadian actress slapped a journalist after she was asked how much she charges for ‘night programmes’ considering the fact that she’s a movie star.
Sunny, along with her husband Daniel Webber arrived at Surat-based hotel early in the morning. Things reportedly got nasty when a drunk person entered her room and misbehaved with her. Since he left the door open, the actress managed to take things under control. But she lost her cool when a journalist asked her an inappropriate question in the hotel’s coridoor.
As per the media reports, the reporter, who was from a national news channel, asked Leone, “You were a porn star earlier, now you are a film star. So how much do you charge now?”
After the incident, the ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ star told the organisers of the event that she would perform only if there was no media around. She fulfilled her professional commitment by giving a 15-minute performance on stage.
