Sucha Singh Chhotepur sacked as Punjab convener of the Aam Aadmi Party

Sucha-Singh-Chhotepur

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party removed Sucha Singh Chhotepur from the post of Punjab convener, who has been accused of taking bribe for assigning constituencies to party candidates for the assembly elections to be held early next year. Meanwhile, the AAP party has handed over the case to disciplinary committee to take the final call. Sources in AAP confirmed that during the meeting it has been decided that party will give a chance to Chhotepur to explain the situation before taking the final call.
21 AAP leaders from Punjab, including members of Parliament Bhagwant Mann and Sadhu Singh, have written a letter to party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asking him to immediately sack Chhotepur based on “our party’s principles of zero tolerance towards corruption.”
