Election Commission appoints 15 expenditure observers in Punjab
Mumbai: Few days back, Sonu Nigam disguised as an old ‘roadside ustaad’ and participated in a social experiment seeking to capture the joyful effect of music on people’s daily life.
Titled, ‘The Roadside Ustaad’, the social experiment by Culture Machine’s digital channel, Being Indian, captured the reaction of Mumbaikars as they stopped by to listen the melodious voice of the old man, albeit not realising it’s Sonu.
However, a young man saw beyond his appearance, and recognised his talent. As as a gesture of praise and acknowledgment, he handed over Rs 12. Sonu, who was blown away by this act of kindness got the money framed and placed it right next to his trophies. The singer even expressed his desire to meet him.
Soon, the meeting was arranged during a Facebook Live AMA with Sonu Nigam and the two shared few endearing moments.
