Khadoor Sahib (Tarn Taran), January 25: Ravinder Singh Bharmpura today filed his nomination papers for the Khadoor Sahib assembly Byepoll with the returning officer. On this occasion, he was also accompanied by Deputy CM and Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Member of Parliament Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, Information & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Education Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, Paramjit Singh Sidhwan, besides several others.
After filing the nomination papers and speaking to media persons, Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal said that party candidate Ravinder Singh Brahmpura would win with a record margin. He said that the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party candidates have sensed their loss and that is why both the parties are running away from the contest. Mr Badal said that the Shiromani Akali Dal is a party having direct contact with the masses and the workers would play a vital role in the victory of Ravinder Singh Brahmpura.
He said that the Shiromani Akali Dal is working really hard for victory. And said that the victory of Khadoor Sahib Byepoll would lay foundation of third consecutive victory for the SAD-BJP alliance in 2017.
Before this, MPs Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, party candidate Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, Education Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, Jathedar Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Hira Singh Gabria, Veer Singh Lopoke, Youth Akali Dal’s Majha Zone president Ravikaran Singh Kahlon, Darbara Singh Guru, Paramjit Singh Sidhwan, Ramandeep Singh Bharowal, Baljit Singh Jalalusma, Manjit Singh Manna, besides several others addressed a series of public meetings.
