Election Commission appoints 15 expenditure observers in Punjab
MUMBAI:By pure coincidence, Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film, ‘Shaandaar’ along with Alia Bhatt will release in the same week as his 2007 hit, ‘Jab We Met’ which also starred former girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor. While Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’ is slated to release on next month – October 22, ‘Jab We Met’, directed by Imtiaz Ali released on October 26 back in 2007. “I did not realise it until someone from the team pointed it out. It is a happy co-incidence that Shaandaar is releasing in the same week as Jab We Met,” said Shahid Kapoor. ‘Shaandaar’, which is a destination wedding film has audiences quite excited especially after the trailer which was well received. This is the first time that Shahid and Alia will be seen sharing screen space together. ‘Jab We Met’ was a major hit both commercially as well as a critical success. Hopefully, the third week of October proves lucky for ‘Shaandaar’ as well.
