Hundreds of Indian students facing ‘deportation’ from Canada stage protest
Chandigarh, August 12: The Punjab government has reconstituted the Punjab Arts Council and nominated TV artist and singer Satwinder Satti and former Doordarshan official Lakhwinder Singh Johal as members.
As per the norms, the state government nominate three persons as the chairman,, vice-chairman and the secretary of the council.
The Punjab Arts Council is the apex body of Lalit Kala Akademy, Sahitya Akademy and Sangeet Natak Akademy.
Harjinder Kaur was presently the chairman of the Arts Council.
