New Delhi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘ Bajirao Mastani’ not only got him appreciation from all over, but also made him win the Best Director award at the 61st Filmfare Awards.
The flick that stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles was also given the title of the Best Film during the event.
Meanwhile Neeraj Ghaywan was awarded with the tile of Best Debut Director, while Sooraj Pancholi and Bhumi Pednekar won the awards for Best Debut for their movies ‘Hero’ and ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ respectively.
The 61st Filmfare Awards took place at the showbiz capital Mumbai on January 16.
