No actor(or actress) reveals the price tag. Ranbir Kapoor was recently seen in Animal and it was a blockbuster, despite receiving mixed reviews.
Sanjay Bhansali tells the story of an A-lister who was offered a fairly impressive amount for a pivotal part in a project. The actor agreed to the price being offered on one condition: the market should not know that the actor sliced his price for Bhansali.
It’s all about perception. However, the market reality is that Ranbir has outpriced Ranveer. Yes, Ranbir is most likely to have hiked his price drastically. Animal has taken his stardom to from Level 2 to Level 5. Whether the hike is what it is being made out to be, we wouldn’t really know.
“Not even his wife Alia or mother Neetuji knows what Ranbir is actually getting after Animal. Every actor hikes his fee after a hit, including Sunny Deol who was paid a mere 8 crores,” reveals a close friend of Ranbir to Zoom.
The only star actor who refuses to hike his fee is Kartik Aryan. His logic is simple. If he is not lowering his price after a failure why would he hike his remuneration after a success?
