A video of Rajinikanth has gone viral on the internet wherein he can be seen waving at his fans outside his Poes Garden home in Chennai. The Jailer actor greeted them with folded hands and showered them with well wishes. In the viral video, thousands of fans can be seen gathering outside his house to start their year on a high note.
For the unversed, Rajinikanth took a break from the shooting of his film Vettaiyan starring Fahadh Faasil alongside him to spent the special occasion with his wife Latha. The actor ringed in New Year alongside his daughters and grandchildren. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will resume shooting of his film Vettaiyan soon.

Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil are currently shooting for Vettaiyan in Tirunelveli. However, a video of the two from the sets of the film has leaked online. In the short clip, Rajinikanth and Fahadh were seen engaging in a conversation with a group of locals alongside some officers standing in their police uniform. While Rajinikanth can be seen dressed in formals, Fahadh was seen standing in casual outfit with a sling bag.
Vettaiyan, inspired by a true story, teases thought-provoking themes, demonstrating the actor’s dedication to meaningful storytelling. Amitabh Bachchan makes his Tamil debut, joining Rajinikanth after 32 years, adding to the film’s star-studded cast. Vettaiyan boasts a lineup featuring Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, GM Sundar, and Rakshan, while Anirudh Ravichander helms the music.
