Punjab govt. bans transfers in all department

Chandigarh, The Punjab Government today banned transfers & postings of officials/officers in all departments of the government with immediate effect.

This was disclosed by an official spokesman. He said that instructions in this regard have been issued to all Financial Commissioners, Administrative Secretaries, Heads of the departments, Commissioners of the Divisions, Deputy Commissioners and Sub Divisional officers (Civil) for immediate compliance.
