Punjab Government instructs B.D.P.O.’S to visit villages twice a week

Chandigarh,October 8: The Punjab Government issued instructions to the Block Development and Panchayat Officers to visit the villages under their command area twice a week to review the development works and submit their report to the higher authority.

While disclosing this a spokesman of the Rural Development and Panchayat Department, Punjab said that the Punjab Govt. is committed to whole heartedly implementing the development schemes meant for the villages, so that they do not lag behind. In this regard the role of Block Development and Panchayat Officers ( B.D.P.O.) assumed great significance.
