Chandigarh January 25: The Punjab government today announced to give 6% hike in dearness allowance to its employees and pensioners due from July 1, 2015.
According to an official spokesman, the finance department issued a communiqué under which 6% hike in DA would be paid to employees in cash with the salary or pension of January.
The spokesman said that with this rise, the rate of DA would enhance to 119% of the basic pay or pension from the earlier 113%.
