Arthur Irving, one of Canada’s richest people, dies at 93
Chandigarh, September 4: It was a novel way of protest by the Punjab government employees in the civil secretariat here.
They sold manifesto of the ruling Congress at 25 paise per copy to register protest against continued indifference of the Capt Amarinder Singh government to their demands.
Punjab Civil Secretariat Staff Association president Sukhpal Singh Khaira said the employees later distributed Pakodas on that paper.
The effort was toconvey that manifesto of the Congress had turned into wastee paper (raddi).
