Chandigarh, October 5 : The Chief Secretary, Punjab Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal today reviewed the preparations being made for the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit to be held on 28th and 29th October in ISB Campus Mohali.
While reviewing the preparations along with senior Government officials at ISB Campus Mohali, Chief Secretary reiterated that Progressive Punjab Investors Summit is a great platform for Punjab to showcase its strengths to attract business investments in the State. He appreciated the one-stop clearance system established by Department of Investment Promotion for ease of doing business in the State.
CEO Invest Punjab, Mr. Anirudh Tewari briefed the Chief Secretary about the structure of the summit, details of sessions, invitees, delegates, road shows and other details related to the Summit. Chief Secretary was further informed that confirmation of star corporate for participation in the summit has already been received and industry has shown a lot of enthusiasm to participate in the summit and to invest in Punjab.
The review meeting was attended by Mr. Karan Avtar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Investment Promotion, Mrs. Anjali Bhawra, Principal Secretary Tourism, Mr. Anirudh Tewari, CEO Invest Punjab, Mr. Amit Dhaka, MD PSIEC, Mr. T P S Sidhu, DC Mohali apart from officials from other concerned departments.
