Chandigarh, February 26, 2016- Hailing the Rail Budget presented by Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu, BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh today said that it was a true manifestation of Modi’s vision of providing the best services at economical prices to the common man of India.
With no hike in fares and freight and announcement of various measures to provide safe, comfortable and affordable travel on train network besides launching several innovations, this budget will definitely boost the productivity and performance of Railways, he said.
The BJP leader said that with the announcement of introducing ‘Antodaya’ superfast but unreserved trains, the Railway Minister has exhibited that the government was ready to take revolutionary steps to make Indian Railways a much better option for travel within the country.
The rail budget will strengthen and further push Prime Minister Modi’s agenda of development. Once again the rail budget has been designed to provide best services at the most reasonable costs without keeping an eye on vote bank politics, Chugh said.
He said that it was good to note that the rail minister has stressed upon transparency and time-bound delivery of services in the department. The BJP leader also hailed Railway Minister’s planning and commitment to complete all pending projects so that the infrastructure of railways is further strengthened in India to serve people in a better way.
Chugh said that Mr Suresh Prabhu has gone an extra mile to comfort the common passenger including the women, the elderly and especially the poor. He said that it is because of the pro-people vision of the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister that people have themselves come forward to welcome the rail budget.
