Man killed, buried under temple’s ‘havan kund’ in Punjab’s Sangrur, 2 held
Mississauga: One man is dead and another has serious injuries after a double stabbing in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
The incident happened in a McDonald’s parking lot near Lakeshore and Cawthra roads at around 1 a.m.
Both victims were initially taken to hospital in serious condition after being located with stab wounds.
Police say the victims are both 18 years old.
No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing at this point.
In a news release issued on Saturday morning, police said that they are interested in speaking with anyone who happened to be in the Lakeshore and Cawthra roads at the time of the stabbing. Police said that they also want to review any surveillance or dash-cam footage from the area.
The stabbing is Peel Region’s 14th homicide of 2017.
