No plan to join any party, says Jagmeet

Jagmeet-BrarMohali, Former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar, who was expelled from the Congress recently, said today that he had no immediate plans to join any political party. Brar, who was here at Gurdwara Amb Sahib to attend a ‘bhog’ ceremony, said he had announced a public meeting on May 21 at Chappar Chiri village in the district to take the views of people on his political future. “I will act in accordance with the wishes of the people,” he added.
He said PPCC chief Capt Amarinder Singh had told party president Sonia Gandhi that he would join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on April 13, but nothing of the sort had happened.
Brar said the AAP was presently the most popular party in Punjab, followed by the Shiromani Akali Dal. The Congress is at the number three position, he claimed.
