Nargis Fakhri has a diva moment on the set

Mumbai:  Nargis Fakhri is rarely in the news for throwing a tantrum on sets. The actress has often been referred to as a refreshing anomaly in a diva-driven Bollywood. So it was natural for the crew of Azhar to raise a brow when Nargis wasn’t her usual self. Says a source, “We were shooting the song Oye oye (originally from Tridev) and Nargis was clearly not in her element. She would insist on not taking retakes. Clearly, the shots were not good enough, or the choreographers wouldn’t have asked her it.”

Later in the day, the actress fainted on the sets. A doctor was then called on location and it became clear that the actress was running a high temperature. Another source informs, “Nargis had landed in Mumbai from an overseas trip the same day and immediately headed for the shoot. She kept saying that she was jet-lagged but the song had to be shot since a grand set had already been erected for it alone.

During the latter half of the day, Nargis got so irritable that she said she would walk out of the set at 9 pm, no matter what. In fact, she threatened to sue them if they made her stay after 9 pm.”

So what finally happened when the clock struck 9? “She did leave the sets, but thankfully by then the shoot was wrapped up,” adds the source.
