Situation remains tense in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as strike enters 4th day
Chandigarh: Punjab BJP incharge and Member of Parliament, Prabhat Jha today visited the site for the rally to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chandigarh on September 11 and claimed that this rally will give new dimensions to the development of northern states.
Jha, who alongwith Punjab BJP chief, Kamal Sharma and Chandigarh BJP chief, Sanjay Tandon, inspected the arrangements for the rally personally on Wednesday.
He further said that this airport will open new ways of development for the people living in northern states.
Welcoming the dates announced by the Election Commission of india for carrying out assembly polls in Bihar, the senior BJP leader said that the party is fully prepared to win the Bihar polls on development done by Modi government as its main agenda.
State BJP chief Kamal Sharma thanked NDA government and Prime Minister Sh.Narendra Modi for giving 2 international airports to Punjab. He said airport of Mohali will not only benefit Punjab and Haryana but people from Himachal Pradesh,Jammu & Kashmir also.
Development of Punjab is going to get a new high with this airport, Sharma said.
