Election Commission appoints 15 expenditure observers in Punjab
Chandigarh, November 6, 2023: Under the Punjab government ‘Rangla Punjab’ initiative, Kudeep Singh, Minister of Administrative Reforms and NRI Affairs announced assistance of Rs 5 lakh from his discretionary fund to an NGO run by NRIs that constructed a football stadium for support budding Punjab players.
Dhaliwal said that he will release the fund to the NGO once it gets registered.
“Our NRI heroes of Punjab may live in any corner of the world but their heart resides in Punjab. Today again he presented a great example of this that in Hushiarpur, my NRI friends Avtar Singh Tari and Kashmir Singh Dhugga, who came from California, America, built a football stadium by donating their personal land and Rs 1.25 crore for the players of Punjab.I sincerely thank this cooperation for making Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann’s dream ‘Rangla Punjab’ successful and announce an assistance of Rs 5 lakh to this organization from my discretionary fund,’ ‘ announces Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.
