Manish Bhangale files PIL against Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse

DawoodlinkswithministerNew Delhi: Manish Bhangale, a hacker from Vadodara, filed a petition on Sunday against the Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse who is currently wrapped in a controversy for his alleged links with India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim.
Manish has alleged that the call records which he got his hands on from Dawood’s Karachi residence shows that he was in frequent touch with a specific mobile number which has been registered in the name of Eknath Khadse.
In the filed PIL, Manish alleged that the Mumbai police had strong electronic evidence against the minister, and yet no proper action has been taken against the minister till now.
On May 18, Bhangale had submitted the call logs of Dawood’s Karachi land line number to Mumbai crime branch.
“No case has been registered in the offence made from the data submitted by me. On the contrary there are attempts being made by alien elements in the system to sabotage my emails and erase the data so that the electronic evidence will be destroyed,” Bhangale said.
In his petition he writes, “Jalgaon Superintendent of police Supekar obtained a clean chit from a mobile company in the name of Revenue Minister and told the media that there was nothing wrong. This whole exercise was overzealous as there was no record of me or any data that I shared by the said Superintendent of Police before reaching out to the cell company for Revenue Minister.”
As per the sources, in the petition Manish has said that government should be directing a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigations into the data tendered to the Mumbai Crime Branch, a special SIT should be set-up to investigate the Dawood Ibrahim matter.
