Low Blow! Steve Smith gone to ground after being hit where it hurts the most

New Delhi: In the 2nd ODI between Australia and New Zealand in Canberra, Australian skipper Steve Smith was floored by a painful blow to the groin.

The pain in such a scenario an very well be understood but Smith’s fellow Australian teammate David Warner and surrounding New Zealand players did find the incident funny and couldn’t control their laughters as the Aussie captain went to ground.

On being asked why Warner was laughing on the incident, he replied, “I laughed because he laughed at me when I got hit in Adelaide, so I was getting it back.”

In the match, Warner hit an impressive 119 runs as Australia scored clinch the Chappell-Hadllee Trophy series with a 116-run win in the final ODI.
