Arthur Irving, one of Canada’s richest people, dies at 93
Chandigarh, October 20: People’s Party of Punjab chief Manpreet Singh Badal lambasted the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for the cabinet paying just lip service to the families of the two victims of police firing at Behbal Kalan village that has caused tremors all over the state.
Commenting upon the cabinet meeting, he demanded that action must be taken against the guilty police officials while providing higher compensation to the next of kin along with government job to one member of the family. Reiterating that the firing was unprovoked, he said probe only by a sitting judge of the high court would bring out the truth.
