Kotkhai rape: HC tells CBI to complete probe in two weeks

The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday gave two weeks time to the CBI to complete investigation into the rape and murder of a 16-year-old Kotkhai school girl.
The CBI today sought three months time to complete the investigation, but the division Bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Sandeep Sharma directed the CBI to submit its final report within two weeks time.
The matter has been listed for August 17.
The CBI also submitted its preliminary report in a sealed envelope, which the court declined to open.
