N.K-Sharma

Chandigarh, February 25 : The Shiromani Akali Dal today lambasted AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal for trying to mislead people of Punjab by making false promises and said that the leader who failed in Delhi cannot be expected to succeed in Punjab.

He said that fact is that he had made a plan to ‘auction’ posts of excise Commissioners and School Principals with motive to ‘increase revenue’. He said that his this proposal is direct promotion of corruption which will ultimately lead to chaos and anarchy and officials will bully traders in the national capital. He said that Kejriwal has declared that only ‘earning’ officers will get promotion and similar would be the case for school principals. “It is duty of the government to make people and trader friendly policies, but the AAP government has left it to officials to let loose a reign of terror on traders” quipped Mr. Sharma.

Mr. Sharma also reminded the Delhi CM that he had ‘fled’ from the Sangat Darshan Programme which he launched on lines with the most popular interaction programme of the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal. He said that a leader who flees from listening the problems of the people cannot be expected to deliver. He also said that the AAP party had copied much of its agenda from the SAD’s welfare programmes and policies and it has nothing new to offer to the people.

He said that the SAD-BJP government the state has already launched a number of initiatives to provide corruption and hassle free governance to the people of Punjab. He said that during the coming days launch of 4 G services would usher a new era of providing maximum government services online to the people of the state and Punjab would be first state to do so.

The SAD Treasurer advised the AAP leader to desist from speaking ‘bunch of lies’ for trying to mislead the people of the Punjab and instead focus of delivering to the people of Delhi who are suffering due to his non performance and utter failure in governance.
