Jagmeet Brar announces 10-point agenda at first ‘baithak’

JagmeetJalandhar, At the first ‘talmel baithak’ in Jalandhar as a part of the recently announced four such programmes in the state, expelled Congress leader Jagmeet Brar today released a 10-point agenda on issues concerning the state.

Brar appointed 19 districts coordinators and a block-level team of volunteers. “Our volunteers will go door to door with this 10-point agenda with solutions. We will not spread negativity. We will solve problems,” Brar said.
On the ED summons to Capt Amarinder’s son Raninder, Brar said the family had put hundreds of crores in foreign banks by looting Punjab.
The agenda released by Brar includes: The state government must ensure the Centre promulgates an ordinance by August 15 to immediately stop repossession of lands and homes of distressed farmers; fix a cap on interest charged by private money lenders; all loans of farmers who have repaid 1.5 times the original loan must be considered fully paid; start CBI, ED investigation monitored by High Court in a time-bound manner on the drug syndicate in Punjab; and special industry package for Punjab like HP, Uttarakhand and J&K to revive closed industries.
