Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice to Punjab government and court Registrar for August 9 next on the use of Punjabi in subordinate courts in the state.
The notice has been issued on a PIL filed by advocates H C Arora and Mitter Sain Goyal.
They have sought enforcement of 2008 legislation for conducting all work in subordinate courts in Punjabi language.
