Golden Yogi makes it to Rio

New Delhi, Yogeshwar Dutt bagged an Olympics quota and the gold medal in the men’s 65kg freestyle category at the ongoing Asian qualifying tournament on Saturday.
Dutt easily overpowered his opponents enroute the final where Katai Yeerlanbieke of China forfeited the bout to hand the Indian the gold.
Having defeated Kim Ju-song of North Korea in qualification round (8-1), he got the better of Xuan Dinh Nguyen of Vietnam by fall verdict (12-2) in the quarters. In the semifinal, Dutt beat Lee Seung-Chul of Korea 7-2.
Dutt booked a berth for India in the 65kg category, while Narsingh Yadav had booked a berth in the 74kg category.
