Chandigarh, ‘Aam Aadmi Party Punjab’ declared here today that AAP volunteers’ decision to transform state unit into ‘AAP Punjab’ to free it from “clutches” of ‘Delhi leadership’ was “bonafide, final and irrevocable.
The “ceremonial” taking over by its president S Sucha Singh Chhotepur after his “Punjab yatra,” is awaited, claimed Dr Manjit Singh Randhawa, Registrar of AAP Punjab, here today.
He declared that all seven zonal incharges arbitrarily and illegally removed by Delhi leadership, will contunue to discharge their duties as before in ‘AAP Punjab.’
Putting all political speculations at rest, he maintained that although volunteers were pressing Mr Chhotepur for an early “take over,” but agreed to give as much time to their leader as per his “wish and wisdom.”
He maintained, seven zonal presidents supporting Chhotepur have already followed the line of volunteers to break their “lesion with delhi leadership” and have appealed others six zonal incharges to follow suit, he maintained.
He added that since it is a big stride, natural “delay” shall not be contrued as “dilemma” in any way.
