Washington: The Former ‘Glee’ star Mark Salling has been indicted on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.
In a statement, U.S. Attorney Eileen M. Decker said, those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed, a local daily reports.
“Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed,” he added.
Salling’s indictment refers to two specific incidents, both in December 2015, during which he received and possessed a still image and videos depicting pornography.
Earlier, the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit had served a search warrant at the 33-year-old actor’s Sunland, California address and seized a personal computer,which, according to court documents, allegedly contained thousands of images and videos of child pornography.
