Finance department suspends Senior Assistant on disciplinary grounds

CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 4: The Special Secretary Cum Director Treasury & Accounts Mr. Abhinav Trikha has suspended Harjinder Singh Senior Assistant posted at Treasury Office, Khanna on the disciplinary grounds.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that a video had recently gone viral on social media which later turned out to be the above mentioned official tearing the currency notes of the denominations of Rs. 500. Taking a serious note, the Special Secretary Cum Director Treasury and Accounts Mr. Abhinav Trikha suspended Harjinder Singh with immediate effect. A separate enquiry is also being conducted.
