WASHINGTON D.C.: Ellen DeGeneres recently addressed Mississippi’s Religious Freedom Bill that was in regards with LGBT rights.

The 58-year-old comedian said that she though a lot about what she wanted to say, adding that she really wants to talk about what happened in Mississippi, reports E! Online.

“I don’t know what Mrs. Sippy is doing, but I’m very worried about Mr. Sippy,” she said.

Further, addressing the bill DeGeneres said that it might sound good because the word freedom is in it, but it has a different meaning. Under the law, if one says for religious reasons he can deny gay people marriage, adoption and foster care services; fire or refuse to employ them and decline to rent or sell them property.

She added that she is not a political person, but this is about human rights and this issue is very personal to her and is highly disappointed.

“So I advocate for less hate and more love. Less tearing apart and more coming together. Less sitting and more dancing,” DeGeneres concluded.
