Patiala, The Enforcement Directorate today filed charge sheet against 12 persons in the drug racket case in the session court.
The case for granting bail to Jagdish Bhola also came up in which ruling has been reserved for March 5.
The charge has been filed against Manpreet Singh Kahlon, Manpreet Singh Mani, Maninder Singh Bittu Aulakh, Varinder Singh Raja, Sukhjit Singh Sukha, Harpreet Singh, Davinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Manchanda, Ankur Bajaj, Sunil Bajaj and Subhash Bajaj.
The court heard arguments on the bail application of Bhola for about one hour. His counsel Satish Karkara argued the ED had failed to produce any witness despite the fact that the charge-sheet was filed on March 2, 2014. The prosecution had no evidence. He said the police had forcibly taken this confession from his client.
