Delegation of Sikh Rajput Committee calls on Speaker Rana KP Singh

Chandigarh, July 4:

A delegation of “Vishava Sikh Rajput Bhaichara Dharam Parchar Committee” called on Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh on Wednesday here. The delegation has also felicitated the Speaker for development works in District Roopnagar.

The delegation members demanded to set up a Chair named after Bhai Mani Singh at Punjabi University, Patiala. The Speaker said he will convey their demand to the Punjab Government and he would also personally try to convince Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to set up the Chair named after Bhai Mani Singh, who laid his life for faith and humanity. He said that the unprecedented martyrdom of Bhai Mani Singh will always be remembered.

On this occasion, PPCC General Secretary Pawan Dewan, Gurmail Singh Pehalwan, President of Vishava Sikh Rajput Bhaichara Dharam Parchar Committee, Secretary General Ranjit Singh Khanna, Chairman Giani Karnail Singh Gharib, Jaimal Singh Chauhan, Surjit Singh Garhi, Dalip Singh Bikkar, Santokh Singh and Kulwant Singh were also present.
