Chandigarh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday lambasted Parkash Singh Badal led SAD-BJP alliance government in Punjab for its failure to control the deteriorating law and order situation in the state which has led to the murder of 88 year old Chand Kaur, wife of late Namdhari sect head Jagjit Singh, near Ludhiana during the daylight.
AAP senior leaders Himmat Singh Shergill said the day light murder of Chand Kaur clearly showed that anti social and unruly elements had no fear of the law enforcing agencies in the state and they know they can do anything heinous and get away with it.
” Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal is a failed home minister of the state and he must quit immediately owning moral responsibility for his inability to secure the lives of the common man. He has failed to install a sense of security among the people of Punjab and is rather busy expanding his business empire instead of focusing on the governance of the state”, said Shergill.
