Man killed, buried under temple’s ‘havan kund’ in Punjab’s Sangrur, 2 held
Chandigarh, October 16- Bewaring the people against the nefarious designs of fissiparous forces to disrupt the peace and communal harmony in the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today exhorted the Punjabis to prevent the incidents of sacrilege of religious places across the cities and towns.
In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said that under a deep rooted conspiracy the religious places across the state were being targeted by some anti-social elements. He urged the people to remain vigilant around the clock to ensure that no one was able to succeed in their nefarious designs of desecrating holy religious places, Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and other religious symbols.
The Chief Minister said that some forces inimical to the state were hell bent upon destroying the hard earned peace and communal harmony in the state as a part of a deep rooted conspiracy and to achieve this ulterior motive they were indulging in heinous and inhuman acts like disrespect of the religious places in the state adding that sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji was too a part of this conspiracy.
The Chief Minister said that the state government was committed to expose this conspiracy with the active support and cooperation of general public. He assured that anyone found guilty in this unpardonable offence would not be spared at any cost and exemplary action would be taken against him so that it act as a deterrent for others to indulge in such dastardly act in future.
