CM and Dy CM are playing dual politics in the state: Sunil Jakhar

Chandigarh, November 17, 2015: The leader of Congress legislature Party (CLP) Sunil Jakhar on Tuesday expressed his sense of pity over the current situation of state government and also condemns the dual face of politics in the state, which is being played by the Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal over the last two months.

He also reminded Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal over possible outcome of his suppressing politics opposite to Chief Minister’s politics of folding hands before people. He expressed these views and also hold listen problem of farmers, who apprised the leader of opposition about the current status of their compensation amount. The farmers complained that the compensation cheques distributed by the state Government are not being cash in the banks due to lack of budget in the government’s bank account. Sunil Jakhar said that it is clear cut injustice to the farmers struggle for their even minor compensation amount. He said that it is the travesty with the sorrow of the farmers.

Leader of opposition Sunil Jakhar also mentioned that it is the height of dual politics that one side Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal apologised in the public gathering for their mistakes at Ludhiana. On the other side, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal playing the suppressing politics and also arresting the common people, who soever have been trying to mark their protest against the minister of ruling government. He also pointed out that it was the misuse of police at Bahbal Kalan to shun the protestor, where two people had scarified his life.

He said that people of the state want this answer that how many have to sacrifice their life to make Punjab peaceful. He said that state Government did not take any effective steps towards their corrupt officer or politicians in the case of pesticides scam.

He also reminded that the state Government have failed to understand that people are in great anger over continuous interference in the religious affairs or in the supreme religious body like SGPC by the state Government and the farmers, who have been struggling for their compensation amount. He said that history itself conveys about those rulers, who tried to suppress the people voice by force, the people always gave befitting hard reply to the rulers. He also urged the state Government to understand the mindset of the people and immediately should take relevant steps as per the consensus of the public instead glorifying their politics of self centeredness.
