Chandigarh, September 19: Punjab Congress President Capt. Amarinder Singh today advocated limited military action against Pakistan to end the menace of proxy war in Kashmir.
In an information interaction with the media persons here, he said in the context of terrorist attack on army installation at Uri that otherwise was heavily fortified, Israeli style action was the only solution as retaliation was a must.
At the same time, he blamed the local army commanders for laxity.
On the issue of starting negotiations with the parties concerned in Kashmir, he said no fruitful talks could be held without breaking the back of those fueling unrest.
