BJP state chief’s aides rebut drug charges

Ferozepur, BJP state chief Kamal Sharma’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Arvinder Singh Chhina and his PA Jimmy Sandhu on Friday rebutted the charges levelled by senior Congress leaders that they had links with drug peddlers. They accused Congress MLAs Sunil Jakhar and Parminder Singh Pinky of taking to vendetta politics to malign Sharma’s image. Chhina and Sandhu said they were ready to face an inquiry, even one conducted by the CBI, into the allegations. “We are also exploring legal options to file a defamatory suit,” they said.
