Indian couple, 3-month-old grandchild among 4 killed in accident during police chase in Canada
Chandigarh, October 14: Expressing grief over the incident in Kotkapura where two persons were killed in violence, state BJP chief Kamal Sharma has appealed people to maintain peace and communal harmony.
In a statement, Sharma said that Punjab is sensitive state and the people have already bore the brunt of violence for around two decades.
“The people of this state have earned peace by giving so many sacrifices but today certain anti-nation forces are determined to again disturb its peace and were making efforts to put another black spot on the face of Punjab. But this will not happen as people of the state are intelligent enough to understand all this,” said Sharma while appealing people to maintain restrain to fight all such issues unitedly.
He strongly condemned the incident regarding sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and demanded strict action against the guilty at the earliest.
