New Delhi, September 15: With the change in the offing in the Punjab Congress leadership, Partap Singh Bajwa is likely to be adjusted as the AICC general secretary.
Sources maintained that going by the present indications, AICC general secretary Ambika Soni was all set to replace Bajwa in the state.
It may be mentioned that former chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal while talking of the likely time frame for change after her talk with party chief Sonia Gandhi, had hinted at some neutral person being entrusted with the responsibility.
However, Capt Amarinder Singh may not be comfortable with Soni also.
