Attitude of Khalsa college management arrogant, disgusting and discourteous : Dal Khalsa

IMG_20170501_142526Amritsar- Dal Khalsa slammed the Punjab government for its dilly-dallying tactics and not arresting the principal, registrar and HOD (Agriculture) of the Khalsa College despite registering FIR against them. The organization has urged the Govt not to adopt ‘double standards’.

Dal Khalsa lashed out at Governing Council members for its arrogant attitude and badly mishandling the situation thereby ruining the career of student’s. “The temporary appointment of acting principal and others looks a ploy to defuse the anger”.  The rude behavior of two Professors one of whom has been appointed acting head of Agriculture department has added insult to injury.

Expressing grief and concern over the unfortunate death of a student Harpreet Singh, the Dal Khalsa and its youth wing ‘Sikh Youth of Punjab’ leadership today met the aggrieved family members and join them at the protest venue.

Party president Harpal Singh Cheema, along with its spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh, secretary Baldev Singh Sirsa and SYP president Paramjit Singh Tanda and spokesperson Paramjit Singh Mand said the concerned staff ill-treated the student to which he felt insulted that forced him to take extreme step.

Dal Khalsa leadership said it was highly deplorable that students of the Khalsa College were holding a silent sit-in from the last six days but none from the management has a courtesy to hold dialogue with them.  They said the locking of the doors of girls’ hostel has further shown the discourteous behavior of the management.
