Jalandhar, August 8: The police on Monday released photos of two people suspected to have shot Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Punjab vice-president Brig (retd) Jagdish Gagneja and also announced a reward and a job for information leading to their arrest.
The police have promised Rs 10 lakh and a job as a constable to anyone in the informer’s family.

Two companies of the Central Reserve Police Force, meanwhile, have been stationed in the city to prevent fallout of the attack.
Two masked people on a motorcycle shot Gagneja thrice in the stomach while he was returning home from a market on Saturday. The RSS leader was admitted to Ludhiana’s Hero DMC Heart Institute in critical condition on Sunday.
