BJP leader, 2 others booked for farmer’s death
Chandigarh, October 7 : The Shiromani Akali Dal strongly condemned the posting of a video clipping by PPCC President Capt. Amarinder Singh on social media regarding his border visit and described his actions as a threat to the national security as well as promoting vulgarity on the social media.
In a statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that a recent clip went viral on social media reveals breathless Capt. Amarinder Singh showing absence of army on the Indian side of the border as well as his statement in which he has revealed the secrets of the Indian army during the previous wars with Pakistan with special reference to mines laid by the army. He also said that this action of Capt. Amarinder Singh has reminded the people of the nuisance acts of AAP MP Bhagwant Mann who had made public a video on social media putting at stake the security arrangements in the Parliament of the country.
The Party also took serious note of Capt. Amarinder Singh instigating villagers on the border to not to follow directions of the Government of India and stay at home defying these directions.
The SAD leader also flayed the Congress leader for posting of unedited video in which Vulgar, abusive and indecent language has been used by a villager and asked the PPCC leader what message he wants to convey to the younger generation on decency in their public life.
Dr. Cheema urged Capt Amarinder Singh to behave in a responsible way and keep tab in his campaign activity on social media as the public expects decency from him because he is not only heading the PPCC but also he is an ex soldier of the Indian army.
