3-1

HUSSAINIWALA (FEROZEPUR), Vowing that days of “Goonda’s Rule” of Akalis are numbered, Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh today said that his party is not scared of Akalis’ bullets, lathis and registration of false court cases.

“We are ready for any sacrifice to bring back good governance in Punjab and not scared of Akalis Goons, bullets, lathis and court cases”, Sanjay Singh said while addressing a massive political rally at the martyrdom place of Shaheed Baghat Singh at Hussainiwala border, on the occasion of culmination 12-days “Nava Punjab March” by youth wing of the party.

“However, our sacrifice cannot be matched with the supreme sacrifice made by martyr Bhagat Singh to bring freedom for us, which is yet to be attained in true spirit so far”, Sanjay said that “Nava Punjab March” has proved to be a big success for “Jan Jagran” and to understand the people’s grievances and their woes.

Secretary (Organisation) of AAP, Durgesh Pathak said that the kind of support AAP is getting in Punjab even at least eight months before the scheduled poll, it is sure that the party would win more than 100 seats in the border state.

“Forget to which party you voted so far, either SAD or Congress, but now the time is ripe to get united to rout them out to bring back the lost ‘glory and sheen’ of Punjab for which it used to be known”, Pathak said while appealing to the people.

Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann said “Before you vote this time in 2017, please look into the eyes of your children for their better future and decide who can provide you the transparent, corruption-free and clean governance?”

Senior AAP leader Gurpreet Ghuggi while addressing the gathering said “It is surprising that great martyr of Punjab is not given due respect owes to him by any government. AAP government will set up a Chair in the Bhagat Singh in the University, so that youngsters could be inspired from the life of Martyr”.

AAP’s youth wing leader, Harjot Bains, who led the “Nava Punjab March” of the party, which began from Fatehgarh Sahib on March 25, said during more than 300 kilometers of March, people thronged to join it in a way to give ‘freedom to Punjab from all sins”.

Introducing a 12-year-boy, Umer of Malerkotla and a deaf and dump Sandeep, who joined the entire Punjab, Bains said these boys are future of Punjab and even they understand who can make their future.

“Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev did not sacrificed their lives to enable Majithia to run drug-racket, Amarinder to park his black money in Swiss bank or Akalis to run a “Mafia’s rule” in Punjab”, Bains said.

Prominent among others who address the political rally include, Himmat Singh Shergil, Yamini Gomar, Faridkot MP Sadhu Singh, Jasbir Singh Jassi and other senior leadership of Youth wing of the party.
