PATHANKOT/ CHANDIGARH: March 29: Aam Aadmi Party today lodged a fierce protest against the visiting Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe Pathankot attack occurred on January two this year.
Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra and Punjab’s Convenor of AAP Sucha Singh Chhotepur led the protest of more than 5000 volunteers near the Pathankot Airbase.
Sanjay Singh while addressing protestors said the Prime Minister Narinder Modi has virtually bowed down in front of Pakistan Government by allowing the visit of Pakistan’s investigation team to Pathankot to probe the terrorist attack, which was planned and conspired in Pakistan.
Chanting slogans against the Centre and holding placards saying “Pak JIT go back” the protestors also waved black flags and reached the gates of the Air Base, where defence personnel were seen trying to restrain them and stop them from entering the restricted area.
“First they come here and attack on our soil bleeding us and they pretend that they are trying to get justice. Congress will never stand this farce,” Sanjay said.
“It is sheer insult of india by Modi, who pretends to be the most patriotic person”, he said quipping how could masterminds of Pathankot Attack be allowed to probe the same attacks?
“Prime Minister Modi, who before becoming Prime Minister used to claim of having 56″ chest to deal with any evil design of Pakistan, now virtually mortgaged the dignity and sovereignty of the country to Pakistan for the sake of developing personal relations with his friend Nawaz Sharif”.
Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra said everybody knows that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI was behind Pathankot attacks and now the same ISI was allowed to visit Pathankot to probe the attack.
“Instead of allowing Pakistan’s investigation team to visit india to probe Pathankot attacks, Indian security agencies should have been sent to Pakistan to probe and investigate role of masterminds enjoying hospitality of Pakistan Government, not only in Pathankot attacks but in Mumbai attacks too”, Mishra said.
If Pakistan was serious to probe the Pathankot attack, its team should have probed the involvement of masterminds of attacks, against whom india has already given ample evidences to Pakistan, Mishra said.
