Chandigarh, September 1: Local leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party has a price and it is Rs 5 lakh per month. That would facilitate that person’s meeting with AAP’s organizational secretary Durgesh Pathak and moving around with him. His company would be the signal to others that the person is important.
This is part of the sting operation that was released by party’s once finance coordinator H S Kingra. The sting operation is the audio version in which three persons are heard talking. The offer is purported to have been made by party’s Ludhiana coordinator Amrish Trikha to Paramjit Singh Dhillon.
Kingra has recordings of about two hours with him which he has threatened to release in stages.
Talking to the media persons here, he said the party had 27 operational accounts during Lok sabha elections in Punjab but now only four were operational.
He threw open challenge to the party in general and Himmat Singh Shergill in particular to produce party’s account book or that the accounts were operational.
He gave details as to how party’s Punjab incharge Sanjay Singh kept Rs 5 lakh with him from Rs 24 lakh collected for the Maghi rally. He asserted this was brought to Pathak’s notice at Sangrur but he kept mum.
He disclosed that another AAP leader Ashutosh was handed over purse containing Rs 16 lakh at Tarn Taran rally during Lok Sabha election and demanded how was that money used.
He provided details of Rs 5 lakh per month system and how the party preferred moneybags.
