Indian couple, 3-month-old grandchild among 4 killed in accident during police chase in Canada
Chandigarh, October 14: Two persons were killed and more than 70 injured in police firing and clashes between the police and Sikh protesters at Behbal village in Kotkapura area.
The villagers were staging dharna on the highway to protest against sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in nearby Bargari village earlier.
Angry villagers have blocked several highways in Faridkot and Moga districts.
The police had earlier in the morning used force to disperse protesters at Kotkapura.
The protest has now snowballed.
The injured also include police personnel.
